Windows 2016 Scheduled for April Release

Good news for those who have been waiting on the latest version of Windows Server.  The 2016 edition which incorporates the user interface features of Windows 10 will likely be available in April. Just like Windows 10, the new server edition is reported to remain a “Work in Progress”.  This means Microsoft will constantly push out security features and enhancements to the operating system.  For those familiar with Apple’s Mac OS X or iOS, Microsoft appear to be following that development model.  This means you will be able to run the same operating system on existing hardware for a longer period of time.  Nine Virtual Technologies’ engineers have been testing the Release Candidate versions of Windows Server 2016 so we will be able to give you expert support on the first day it is released to the public.  Contact us to see how we can help your business make the transition.
