Do you offer Traditional IT Consulting?
Yes. While we try to concentrate our efforts in the Cloud and Virtual spaces, we do offer traditional IT consulting on a project by project basis. We are experts with Exchange, VMware, Windows Servers, Red Hat Linux, Skype for Business, 3CX Virtual Phone Systems, and SharePoint just to name a few. Is Audio and Video supported in Skype for Business?
Skype for Business supports both Audio and Video redirection via a plugin that has to be installed on the endpoint device connecting to the vOffice hosted desktop. The plugin is available from our support site. If you need assistance setting this up, please contact our support department.
Do you provide support for email on phones?
Yes, but our support is limited. We can only provide support to customers hosting their email with us and we can offer limited support on the actual setup process on individual phones. What we can provide is the mail server settings and interface with your phone’s service provider (Verizon, AT&T, etc) to assist with the setup.
Can we buy or lease equipment from you?
Yes. Nine Virtual Technologies offers thin clients for lease or purchase manufactured by 10zig.com. Thin clients are a great alternative to PCs and consume less energy. Please contact your Account Executive for more information.
Do you Provide a User Manual?
Yes. Our user manual is updated on a monthly basis and contains answers and tips to the most commonly asked questions regarding Nine Virtual Technologies vOffice hosted desktops.
Do you provide on-site support for vOffice?
No. We only support the vOffice hosted desktops and associated software. However, we can interface with a local technician to assist in any troubleshooting or issues you may experience.
Do you provide 24×7 Support?
Yes. However, it is an additional package that must be purchased in conjunction with your vOffice hosted desktop. Please contact your Account Executive for more information.
Do You Offer Windows 10?
We support Windows 10 through our vOffice hosted desktop solutions and have a demo available. You can view it by contacting your Account Executive.
Do you offer Demos of different Operating Systems and/or Software?
Yes. When you login with the Horizon View client, you will see different desktop pools besides your vOffice hosted desktop. You may login to any of the pools listed and try out new features and software provided by Nine Virtual Technologies. We offer these demos and encourage customers to try things out before we roll out new upgrades. None of the things you do in the demo desktop are saved and are reset automatically every time you log out.
Do You Provide Phone Systems for Offices?
We are an authorized reseller of virtual phone systems by 3CX, the leader in virtual PBX technology. Their software is amazing and the most flexible on the market.
Can I install my own software?
No. In order to maintain our Service Level Agreements all software must be installed by a member of Nine Virtual Technologies Support Team. We will install any software you want as long as it meets any one of the following criteria:
1. You own the license for the software you wish to have installed.
2. The software is free for personal or commercial use
3. You have permission from your manager
4. It will not cause any harm to your vOffice hosted desktop or the Nine Virtual Technologies infrastructure.
If your software fits one of the qualifications above and you are the authorized owner of the vOffice hosted desktop for which you use, fill out our Service Request form and we will be happy to install the software for you.
If you are not the owner of the vOffice you are using, have the owner or your manager to fill out a Service Request form granting us permission to install the software on your behalf.
