Department of Homeland Security Recommends Disabling Java

The Department of Homeland Security’s US CERT Team recommended last week all users disable Java on their computers as there are unpatched vulnerabilities that could make your computer remotely accessible by Hackers.

This proves to be difficult for many users, as they depend on Java for so many web-based applications. Although Oracle, the maintainers of the Java program, released an emergency fix on Sunday, it could take years for all of the existing vulnerabilities to be patched. View the full article below:
